Dialog call:You have opened a project.
- You have inserted a junction symbol in the graphical editor (for example via Tab Insert > Command group Symbols >
(Junction)). The Symbol data tab is displayed in the Properties (components): Junction dialog. - You have marked a junction in the graphical editor. Popup menu item Properties.
In this tab you specify the settings for the graphical display of the junction in the P&I diagram and specify whether the substance transported through the piping is separated at this junction.
Overview of the main dialog elements:
Use this group box to edit the graphical properties of the component. Here you can assign a different symbol variant or a different symbol to the junction.
This field displays the name of the current symbol. Click [...] to open the Symbol selection dialog and to select, if required, a different symbol.
If available, a preview of the symbol is shown in the adjacent field.
Separate substance at junction:
If this check box is activated, the substance is separated at the junction. This means that a different substance flows through the main line (connection points 1 and 2) than through the branched piping (connection point 3). In this case no piping data is forwarded via the connection point that represents the junction.
If the check box is deactivated, the same substance flows through both the main line and the junction. In this case the piping data is forwarded to the junction.
