Manual cross-references are simple multi-line texts that can be displayed at the component together with the "normal" cross-reference. Eplan positions the manual cross-reference before the automatically created cross-reference.

Precondition:

You have opened a project.

1. Select a schematic page for editing.
2. Double-click the component where you wish to display a manual cross-reference.
3. Click (New) in the Properties group box in the <Function category> tab of the Properties <...> dialog.
4. In the Property selection dialog, select the Manual cross-reference property.
5. Click [OK].
6. In the Value field of the Manual cross-reference property, enter the desired text.
7. Select the popup menu item Line break to force a line break, or select the popup menu item Multi-line input to enter multi-line text in the Multi-line input dialog. A line break is then forced using [Ctrl] + [Enter].
8. Click [OK].
   
   The text is entered into the Value field.
9. Click [OK].
   
   The manual cross-reference is written to the symbol.
