In order to place an object on an already positioned object, for example an auxiliary contact on a contactor, an unambiguous reference is defined via the MateMarker parameter. The object to be positioned can then refer to this reference via the MateMap parameter. The MateMarker reference is freely definable and may consist of any combination of letters and numbers, e.g. Q1. Objects that have to provide an unambiguous reference via the MateMarker parameter must be inserted into the model structure before the objects that refer to this reference.
Example for the use of MateMarker
The following example shows a main switch that is placed on a enclosure door and that acts via a shaft on the switch element which is placed on the mounting panel.

Structure in the EEC project:
The items are located on different branches of the discipline structure. The switch element (DeviceMainSwitch) is located below the mounting panel, the main switch (DeviceDoorCoupling) below the enclosure door.
The parameter MateMarker is defined with the value Q1 in the switch element. For the placement of the main switch the value of the parameter MateMarker is specified with Q1:3KD_WELLE for dest in the parameter MateMap. The mounting point that is defined in the switching element is called 3KD_WELLE.
This results in the following structure in Pro Panel:
The switch element S1 consists of two parts. The main switch is located on the door and the switch element is located on the mounting panel.
