Moving Wire Harness Segments

The Move wire harness segments command can only be used in nailboards derived from a workspace. Paths (such as cables, bundles, surface protections, etc.) can be shaped with this command. Control points, added control points in the nailboard, labels, and ties can be used as control points.

  1. Select the Edit > Move wire harness segments menu items or the (Move wire harness segments) button on the main toolbar.
  2. Select the base point from the Radial grid options section of the command bar.
  3. Use the Free movement option if the radial grid is not to be displayed and determine the angle of rotation with the mouse.
  4. Or use the Invisible grid option if the radial grid is not to be displayed, but, when dragging the mouse, the control point is snapped to the grid.
  5. Or use the Free grid option if the radial grid is to be displayed and the control point can be moved freely.
  6. Or use the Visible grid option if the radial grid is to be displayed.
  7. Click the (Set base point) button to redefine the base point.
  8. Press [Esc] to terminate the command.
