An arc is a segment of a circle. An arc through three points intersects three points. To create an arc through three points, you can use the mouse and the keyboard. Both techniques can be combined.
Using the mouse
- Click the Arc through 3 points button on the toolbar.
- Determine the first point by clicking on the desired location in the 2D working window.
- Determine the other two points
in the same way.
The arc is created after the third key point is determined, between the first and the second key points. - Repeat the command by using the space bar or clicking the Arc through 3 points button again, if desired.
Using the command bar
- Click the Arc through 3 points button on the toolbar.
- Determine the X and Y coordinates of the first point in the command bar and confirm with [OK].
- Determine the second and third points in the same way.
- Click [OK] to complete the arc.
- Repeat the command by using the space bar or clicking the Arc through 3 points button again, if desired.
