Translation Editor

The translation is stored in an *.hxlf file. This file is used in EPLAN Harness proD Studio to select a language in the nailboard, cable drawing and report environment.

The translation editor is located in the EPLAN Harness proD installation folder which is defaulted to <Drive>:\<Program directory>. Double-click the TranslationEditor.exe file there to launch the editor.

To start a new translation project, click the New button. By default the columns of all languages supported by EPLAN Harness proD are displayed with the existing translation entries.

To open an existing translation project, click the Open button. In the subsequent file selection dialog browse to the desired *.hxlf language file.

To save the current state of the translation project, click the Save button. If the project is saved for the first time, you are prompted for a location and a name for the *.hxlf file to be generated.

To save the translation project to a different file and / or a different location, click the Save as button.

To add a new language, click the Add button. In the subsequent New translation variant dialog, enter the name of the language to be added. Activate the Empty translation check box if the rows of the added column will be empty. If the check box is not activated, the rows of the added column will be filled with the entries of the current language.

To remove a language, select any row in the desired column and click the Remove button. A prompt for confirmation is displayed. Click [Yes] if the selected language is to be really removed.

Note:

Only added languages can be removed.
