All project-specific and attached documents are stored within the Project folder. Projects can be opened even if the used libraries are not available. All the library objects placed in workspaces, workdesks, nailboards, and cable drawings and also imported objects are stored within this project folder. If you want to pass on an existing project to another company or department which is not connected by the same local network you are using, just post the project folder including its whole content.
Warning:
Do not change the content of the project folder manually, this may lead to data corruption!
EPLAN Harness proD Studio allows multi-user operation with regard to one project. There are several limitations for this kind of working:
- Each document (workspace, workdesk, nailboard, cable drawing, report) can be "fully" opened just by one user (client), the rest of the users can open it only in read-only mode.
- A change of the project structure (e.g. a workspace addition) made by one user is applied to the project structures of the remaining users once the project is saved by the first user (the one who made the change).
- If a user switches to the Project structure view and the project structure was recently changed by another user, the project structure will be reloaded; the user is prompted to confirm reloading or it is done automatically, depending on the Suppress warning when reloading project setting.
