Inserting Annotations

An annotation is an auxiliary object. It is basically a label or a note, usually connected to an object to describe it.

An annotation can be added to any object containing key points or it can even be placed anywhere in the working window. In the workdesk environment, the annotation can be moved to the Z axis while being placed or be repositioned by means of the Move command.

  1. Click the Annotation button on the toolbar.
  2. Select a target for the annotation, e.g. a key point, and click on it.
  3. Click a second time on a desired location in the working window to create the annotation itself.

A line is created, connecting the key point with the annotation.
  4. Repeat the command by using the space bar or clicking the Annotation button again, if desired.

Note:

If you want to create an annotation without a line, simply click anywhere in the working window.
