If you are missing a part in the EPLAN Data Portal, you can notify us by means of the part inquiry. To do this, click the Generate link next to the Part inquiry field in the Properties tab of the User profile.
Once the Part inquiry dialog is open, you can let us know what you are looking for.
Procedure:
- Select the manufacturer that produces the part you are searching for.
- Please specify if you are looking for a certain part, or a product range.
- Specify at least one of the following numbers:
- Part number
- Type number
- Order number
- Specify which data the part should include.
- Contact information will be imported by EPLAN automatically. You may enter additional data, if needed. Before an inquiry can be sent, you must accept the data protection conditions. Once you have entered the data, click Send.
- Your part inquiry will be passed on to the particular manufacturer.
Notes:
- For a successful submission of your part inquiry we recommend to completely fill out your Contact information in the EPLAN Data Portal. To do this, open the View users dialog and enter your data into the Properties tab. EPLAN can provide no guarantee that your request will be fulfilled by the manufacturer and cannot provide a date for this to be accomplished.
- If a search by means of the Search dialog is unsuccessful, you will receive a message and can immediately start an inquiry. In that case, the search criteria are directly adopted for the part inquiry.
