At all parts that dispose of the feature you can download a graphic that represents the configuration and structure of the corresponding part in a browser. This graphic is available in DXF format meaning that all the logical information that is required for processing in EPLAN is not contained.
Preconditions:
- You have logged into the EPLAN Data Portal in a browser.
- You are either in the List of parts or in the Shopping cart.
- The required part has the feature.
Procedure:
Downloading the DXF data of a part
- Click the button above the part number of a part.
- Your browser opens a dialog for downloading a .zip archive that contains the desired data. The file name consists of the part number and the file extension.
- Save the file at the desired location.
Downloading the DXF data of several parts
The DXF data of several parts can only be downloaded is a single pass when you are in the shopping cart.
- Place all the parts whose DXF data you want to download in the shopping cart.
- Open the shopping cart.
- Click the button in the upper right-hand corner of the shopping cart.
- Your browser opens a dialog for downloading a .zip archive that contains the desired data. The file name is EDataPortalDXF.zip.
- Save the file at the desired location.
Notes:
- You require an EPLAN Data Portal guest access to download DXF data.
- Detailed information about the contents and structure of the data of the .zip archive is provided in the Readme.txt of the archive.
- This functionality is only available in a browser.
