Download, save and open a project
Projects which you open from eManage in the platform are downloaded and saved locally on your computer beforehand and are only then opened in the platform. This means each modification you perform on the project is local and can therefore be performed offline.
You can also download projects in the browser and open them at a later point in the platform with and without Internet connection. As soon as you have finished your modifications, you can just upload the project again and the updated project is available again for those users with whom you have shared the project.

Download, save and open a project in the platform
In the grid view
- Open eManage.
- Open the folder with the desired project.
- Click the project.
- Click the
icon. - Click OK.
- Click OK.
- The project opens and stored locally on your computer.
Possible actions are displayed.
The project is downloaded.
The dialog for opening the project opens.
If the project already exists, a restore dialog is displayed.
If the project already exists, a restore dialog is displayed. If you click, yes your locally stored project is overwritten with the one from eManage.
The dialog to restore the project confirms the restoring.
If you have finished editing a project and want to make the changed project available in eManage, you must upload it again. Further information is available here.
In the list view
- Open eManage.
- Open the folder with the desired project.
- Click the icon.
- Click Open in the platform.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
- The project opens and stored locally on your computer.
