Settings

In this area you can make settings for redlinings.

  1. Default selection for comments
  2. Templates for descriptions
  3. Templates for comments

Default selection

You can select whether the red pen is pre-selected by default when you are working with eVIEW. This setting is your personal setting and does not affect the settings of other users.

  1. Default selection

Templates for descriptions

Templates can be used to standardize redlining descriptions. In the settings you can activate the use of templates and create new templates. The templates are available to all users who are members of the organization.

If you activate the use of the templates, you activate the use of the templates only for yourself. You do not enable the templates to be used by all other users in your organization. If you select a template as the default, select this template as the default only for yourself and not for other users.

Tip

If you are working from a mobile device, long templates are not displayed completely. You can display long templates completely by pressing the template longer with your finger.

All templates are available in a drop-down list in the "Descriptions" area. Users can choose between templates and extend or edit the texts.

Templates for comments

Templates can be used to standardize the status comments of redlinings. If you change the status of a redlining, you can add an additional comment to the comment field. In the settings, you can create templates in the form of texts for this comment field.

If you activate the templates, the templates are available for selection when commenting.
