Download commercial data

Every part in the Eplan Data Portal contains commercial data. You can download these data in a .csv file. The .csv file contains the name of the manufacturer, part number, type number, order number, product group, description texts and references to external documents.

This functionality is available to you in the Eplan Platform and in the browser.

Preconditions

  • You have signed in to the Eplan Cloud and are in an organization.
  • Create an account if you do not have an Eplan Cloud account yet. Information on this topic is available here.
  • You have selected the Eplan Data Portal.

Download commercial data of one part

ClosedIn the parts list
  1. Parts list
  1. Click the drop-down list at the desired part in the parts list. (Filter parts)
  2. Click Download commercial data.

    3. The Open *.csv dialog opens.

  3. Save the file at the desired location.

ClosedIn the detail view

  1. Click the drop-down list in the detail view. (Open detail view)
  2. Click Download commercial data.

    3. The Open *.csv dialog opens.

  3. Save the file at the desired location.

Download the commercial data of several parts in the Platform

  1. Activate the multiple selection.
  2. Select the desired parts.
  3. Click the drop-down list and select Download commercial data.

    4. The Open *.csv dialog opens.

  4. Save the files at the desired location.

  1. Click Download list in the navigation bar.
  2. Select all parts in the download list by means of the overall selection or select individual parts.

    3. If you have limited the display to a number of parts, but more parts are contained in the download list, only those parts are selected in the overall selection that you see in the display. Increase the number of displayed parts to select all parts with the overall selection.

  3. Click the drop-down list and select Download commercial data.

    4. The Open *.csv dialog opens.

  4. Save the file at the desired location.

    2. If you have limited the display to a number of parts, but more parts are contained in the download list, only those parts are selected in the overall selection that you see in the display. Increase the number of displayed parts to select all parts with the overall selection.

  2. Click the icon or open the drop-down list and select Download commercial data.

    3. The Open *.csv dialog opens.

  3. Save the file at the desired location.
