Cause

Two or more terminals connected with each other have different settings for the internal / external connection point property. This is the case, for example, if function connection point 1 of a terminal has been set as the internal connection point and this functional connection point is connected with function connection point 1 of a neighboring terminal that has the "External" connection point property.

Solution

1. Locate the relevant terminals in the schematic using the Go to (graphic) function from the popup menu in the Message management dialog.
2. In each case open the Properties dialog of the terminals and bring the Symbol / function data tab to the foreground.
3. Use the [Logic] button to go to the Connection point logic dialog.
4. In each case check the setting for the Internal / External connection point property on the terminals' function connection points that are connected with each other.
5. Modify the Internal / External connection point property for the terminals' function connection points connected with each other such that the setting accepts a common value of "Internal" or "External".
6. Close the modifications by clicking [OK].
7. Refresh the connections and then start a new check run.
