P005048: Net contains connection symbols with the 'Specify targets' property

Cause

The net contains one or more connectors for which the Specify targets property is active. The wiring targets are then displayed in place of the connection points.

Solution

  1. In the Message management dialog, click the message to identify the associated net in the schematic that contains the connectors with target specification.
  2. Follow the T-nodes, double junctions or jumpers within the net, and check the representation of these symbols.
  3. If you have determined one or more connectors with target specification, call up the relevant Property dialog for the symbol.
  4. Deselect the Specify targets check box.

All target variants of the connector are grayed out.
  5. Click [OK].

The relevant connection symbol is now represented by a dot.

Tip:

If you are configuring nets, you can use the Deactivate 'Specify targets' property when inserting a net definition point setting (Options > Settings > User > Graphical editing > Connection symbols) to deselect the target specification when you insert connectors. In this case, the symbols are represented as connection points.
