EPLAN can automatically translate project and parts text. During translation, EPLAN accesses the keywords in the dictionary. The dictionary offers you the following possibilities:
- You can manage several different dictionaries and choose the appropriate one for the project or parts management.
- You can manage keywords for several translation languages in a single dictionary.
- You can export untranslated keywords, have them translated outside the EPLAN system, and then import the translated text.
- The dictionary is Unicode-capable. This enables you to import keywords in font styles using the Unicode standard.
- You can specify words that are not to be translated.
- You can also add special characters, such as, for example, the copyright symbol ©, as keywords to the dictionary.
