Project view (2D and 3D)

The app allows the display of schematics in 2D as well as 3D models, in which you can show or hide sections of an enclosure, highlight components, and rotate the model freely.

Collaboration

Projects can be shared with other users or teams. All parties can access the same data at the same time. Through the assignment of roles and rights, you can specify which users or teams can access specific projects and which functional scope they can use in eView.

Redlinings and greenlinings

Users can mark change requests or errors directly in the documentation by using redlinings. These marks are visible for other users and can be further processed in the workflow and assigned a corresponding status. Greenlinings allow you to mark the progress of your work within a project. Greenlinings can also be used as personal notes.

Web-based and desktop-based access

eView can be used in the browser without installation. Alternatively, the app is also available in the installed products, such as Eplan Electric P8 or Eplan Pro Panel, with the functional scope there deviating from the browser version.

You can launch eView either in a browser or within an installed Eplan solution. The functionality and appearance of eView Free differ depending on the requirements. In the installed Eplan solution, projects are created, edited and made available for eView. eView in the browser is mainly intended for users who do not have access to the installed Eplan solution. Projects that are made available can be viewed and commented in the browser.
