Assign roles and licenses

Roles and licenses in user management are either assigned and revoked by the main administrator of the organization or by a user to whom the main administrator has assigned the role "Manage" for user management. By selecting a role, the product appears on the dashboard and is available to the user.

1. Select a user in the selection area.
2. Click the icon.
3. Open the drop-down list for the respective product.
4. Select a role.

By assigning a role to the user, you also assign an Eplan license at the same time. More about Eplan licenses can be found here.

5. Click Save.
6. The role is assigned.

If a user is a member of a team with an assigned role template, a previously made manual change is overwritten when the role template is changed or the role template is replaced.

3. Click the icon.
4. Open the drop-down list for the respective product.
5. Select a role.

6. Click Save.
7. The same role is assigned to multiple users.

In the role templates, you can only assign roles and licenses to Eplan Cloud products whose license type is "Free" or "Concurrent License".

2. Click the icon.
3. Open the drop-down list for the respective product.
4. Select a role.

6. The roles in the role template have been assigned.
