Dialog call:- You have activated the Check on startup whether master data without preview images exists setting in the Settings: Preview images dialog box. You have restarted Eplan. You have clicked [Yes] in the subsequent Generation of preview images dialog.

In this dialog, you specify the master data directory and the reference project for the generation of preview images. If the dialog is displayed during the program start, a preset master data directory that cannot be changed is displayed.
Overview of the main dialog elements:
Only available when called up via the Generate preview images command. Enter the master data directory for which the preview images are to be generated here. Click 
to open the dialog for choosing a directory and then navigate to the desired directory.
When the dialog is called up after the program start, the data main directory $(EPLAN_DATA) or the master data directory used during the last generation of preview images is displayed.
You can use the Insert path variable popup menu item to branch to the dialog Select path variable where you can select one of the available path variables.
A reference project is used to specify the layer information and symbols with which the preview images are to be generated. The default setting here is the reference project specified in the Settings: Preview images dialog. If required, you can select a different reference project via
