Roles in the Data Portal
In the User management, you assign roles to users for the individual EPLAN Cloud products, see Roles and licenses. The role influences the functionality of the EPLAN Cloud product.
Only the "User" role or no role can be assigned for the Data Portal. If no role is selected, the user no longer has access to Data Portal and the part request.
Roles for the part request
There are two roles for the EDP Request Process that come with certain rights and restrictions. The following roles are available to you (beginning with the role with the most rights):
- Designer
- User
If Unassigned is selected, the product is not displayed in the dashboard and is therefore not available to the user.
