Send and receive documentations
In ePocket, documentations can be sent to other people. When a documentation is sent, it lands in the recipient's ePocket inbox.

Send documentation
When you send a documentation, you can only send it to recipients who are not members of your organization. When a documentation is sent, a copy of the documentation is sent to the recipients.
Note
If you want to make a documentation available to a member of your organization, use the "Share" functionality.
- Click the icon
in the Actions column.
- Click Send in the drop-down list.
- Enter the e-mail address of the recipient.
- Click Send.
The Send documentation dialog opens.
Recipients must not be members of your organization.
You can only enter one e-mail address at a time.
You can optionally select the option Attach sticker with documentation QR code.
You can optionally write a message to the recipient.
The documentation is in the recipient's inbox for 30 days and can be imported from there into the workspace of the recipient. If the recipient imports the documentation, the recipient is automatically removed from the recipient list in the Send documentation dialog.
Special features when sending a documentation with a documentation QR code
If you select the Attach sticker with documentation QR code option, you transfer the sticker including documentation QR code to the recipient.
- You send a digital version of the sticker, including the documentation QR code, to the recipient. The recipient can print the sticker and attach it to the enclosure.
- If you have previously printed the sticker and passed the printed sticker on to the recipient, the documentation QR code on the sticker becomes active for the recipient.

A documentation with a sticker can only be sent to a single recipient. If you send a documentation with a sticker to a recipient, the option is deactivated until the recipient has imported the documentation.
As soon as the recipient has imported your documentation into their own ePocket area, you can no longer scan the sent documentation QR code. The documentation QR code is invalid for you. After sending, a sticker with a new documentation QR code is available for you. You can send the new documentation QR code to a different recipient.
Note
If you have not sent the sticker with the documentation QR code digitally, but have given a printed version of the sticker to a recipient, the recipient cannot scan the documentation QR code that you have printed on the sticker.
The recipient must create their own sticker with a new documentation QR code, print it out and attach it to the enclosure.
Recall documentation
You can recall a sent documentation, provided that the sent documentation has not yet been imported by the recipient.
- Click the icon
in the Actions column.
- Click Send in the drop-down list.
- Click the
icon next to the user in the recipient list.
- You will be prompted to confirm the recall of the documentation.
- Click Recall.
- The documentation is recalled. The documentation is no longer available in the recipient's inbox.
- The recipient is deleted from the recipient list.
The Send documentation dialog opens.
Receive documentations
If you have received a documentation, this documentation first lands in the ePocket inbox. To work with a documentation you have received, you must first import it into your own workspace. You have 30 days to import a documentation from your inbox into your own workspace.
Import documentation
- Go to the Inbox area in ePocket.
- Click the icon
in the Actions column.
- Click Import in the drop-down list.
- Click Import.
- The documentation is be imported to your ePocket workspace.
The Import documentation dialog opens.
If you are a member of multiple organizations, you can select the organization into which you want to import the documentation.
You can select the location where the documentation is to be imported.
Each documentation can only be imported once.
Special features when importing into another organization
If you are a member of multiple organizations, you can select the organization into which you want to import the documentation. If you change the organization in the Import dialog, you are redirected directly to the respective organization. You can then continue importing the documentation in the new organization.
Reject documentation
If you reject a received documentation, it is deleted from the inbox and can no longer be imported.
Only documentation that has not yet been imported can be rejected.
- Go to the Inbox area in ePocket.
- Click the icon
in the Actions column.
- Click Reject in the drop-down list.
- The documentation is rejected and deleted.
You can only reject documentations that have not yet been imported.
