Notes for the reader

The help system contains conceptual information, usage instructions and videos. Pages which only include conceptual information, contain the word 'basics' in the title. Videos are available on YouTube and are embedded in the help pages.

Various information blocks exist on the pages:

Here you find notes, that you should take into consideration while working in Cogineer.

At the end of most pages you find references to pages with relevant topics within and outside the help system.

Specific elements are highlighted in a continuous text:

  • User interface elements are marked in blue so they can be clearly recognized.
  • Bold text provides particularly important information that you should definitely pay attention to.
  • Code examples, directory names, direct input (among others) are displayed in a non-proportional font.
  • Glossary entries are highlighted in color. When you position the mouse on it, the explanation on the term is displayed.
  • In the usage instructions you find at many points the reaction of the program to your action.
  • You find the reaction immediately below the instruction.
